New Zealand High School Esports Clash – Hosted by the University of Waikato

Registrations are now open for the 2025 New Zealand High School Esports Clash, featuring Valorant. Now in its fifth year, this competition provides high school teams across the country with the opportunity to compete in a structured and exciting esports environment.

2025 Event Schedule

• May 9 – Valorant competition begins
• June 26 – Valorant Swiss Final
• July 3 – 17 – Valorant Top 8 Playoffs

All matches will take place on Thursday afternoons from 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

How to Register

High school teams must be formed and registered through a teacher from their school.
