Red Bull Home Ground New Zealand – Hyperfibre League Qualifier

The Red Bull Home Ground, in association with the NZ Esports Hyperfibre League, is offering Valorant teams an exciting opportunity to showcase their skills and represent New Zealand on the international stage.

Here's everything you need to know:

The Path to Tokyo

Starting 9 July, teams will compete every Tuesday night until 6 August in the Hyperfibre League Qualifier. This five-week online tournament is not just about bragging rights- but also a chance to advance to a live LAN final in Auckland, with travel support provided. The winning team will go on an all-expenses-paid trip to Tokyo, Japan, to represent New Zealand at the APAC Valorant Regional Qualifiers.

Team Requirements
  • Residency: Each team must have at least three players from New Zealand. The remaining two players can be from Australia.
  • Age: All players must be 16+
  • Subs: Teams are allowed to add two substitutes to their roster.
Match Details
  • Match Times: 
    • 2x Bo1 matches every Tuesday night, from 9 July to 30 July from 6:00 pm NZST.
    • The top four teams will proceed to a double elimination bracket, played on Tuesday, 6 August.
  • Format: 5v5, 8-Round Swiss Tournament, limited to 128 teams.
  • Map Pool: Bind, Ascent, Icebox, Breeze, Pearl, Lotus, Sunset.
  • Schedule:
    • Registrations opens: Monday, 24 June at 10:00 am NZST.
    • Registrations closes: Monday, 8 July at 10:00 am NZST.
    • First match starts: Tuesday, 9 July at 6:00 pm NZST.

Rules and Rescheduling
  • Rules: TBC
  • Rescheduling: Matches can only be rescheduled with approval from the admin and opponent. Admins reserve the right to reject any rescheduling requests.

Streaming

We are looking for co-streamers to cast and stream the games weekly for five weeks. Anyone interested in streaming matches can apply here.

For players wanting to stream: You may stream their point of view (POV) but must use a 180-second delay to ensure fair play.
